Large pressure water pump assembly for something big and powerful. This whole assembly consists of a small feeder pump that is providing an ample water supply through the filter system for the main pump. This small supply pump also provides capacity to operate this pump off grid from an external water reservoir. Main pump is belt driven (actually 3x belts to be correct) via the help of 11kW electrical motor. This robust steel assembly has inlet pressure gauges after and past filter in order to monitor the filter performance efficiency. Output has course the output pressure for letting the operator know what actually comes out of this doohikey. Output circuit pressure regulation valve takes care of recirculating the excess fluid back to reservoir and an adjustable pressure switch with a meter can be used for advanced PLC stuff or just as an dry run preventer or filter clogging alarm.

During transportation this unit got it’s pressure pump’s oil level inspection eye broken. This means it must be replaced or at least plugged or it will spill oil all over the place.

This current configuration drives the pump with 11kW motor and it will produce a 130bar of pressure with 50l/min flow. If you need more pressure that can be done by increasing the motor size (or adding another motor) + tinkering with the belt drive and changing the ratio in favor of what you actually desire to have. If the pump is used under varying load or it is not needed at it’s peak capacity, it is highly advisable to use a VFD (variable frequency drive) to control at least the large pump. This way you will extend the motor and pump service life, reduce your electrical bill, and theoretically compensate all of your motor reactive power, which can be quite a handful with a large inductive load.

- Note! It came to us from a factory which was closed in 2005 and it had not seen any use after that. All in all there this device has only a fairly small amount operating hours on this one. Based on the tool marks on the filter it seems like the filter cartridge has only been exchanged only once.
