Large tray handler as part of an industrial process.

Main purpose of this device has been to buffer out the fluctuations during the production. Buffering will take action when the process has "over production". When this happens the tray feeder will store excess production by temporary storing notable amount of full trays into itself. When situation changes and there is "under production" the feeder will balance out the situation and feed the stored pallets back to the system. Reasons for such fluctuations might be caused when one of the production cells are being repaired or simply refilled with parts or raw material. With out this kind of buffering method the whole process will stop, but because of this the production can go on for some time. In other words machines stay on up and running as long as the stuff lasts.

Device can be used as is for handling and buffer storing trays full of small products. What the end user must do is obtain suitable plastic trays according to their product dimensions and hooking this unit up to existing production line. Tray will be used for transporting the products into the temporary storage and out of it.

Automation cell can be used as a hull for own project. Here is a couple of ideas what you could build out of this:
