This kit ha some handy thingies for removing broken thread taps. All you need to do is:

  • 1. Break a tap
  • 2. Course about it a bit (optional step)
  • 3. Chill out (optional step)
  • 4. Grab one of these contraptions and insert the pointy bits into the thread tap holes
  • 5. Start wiggling the tap out (you may as well try to lubricate the tap with penetrating oil and try if some mild percussive maintenance can unjam the bit)
  • 6. Enjoy extracted tap or broken tool
