Festo HGL-1/8 12938 pilot operated check valve

Pressure operated check valve which can be used in various different applications. One way valve lets air through it only in one direction, but if desired valve can be opened into restricted direction with the help of a pressure in a valve's pilot port. With pilot operated check valve you can ensure some pneumatic component position even if the system loses pressure (presuming your actuator does not leak). You can also make logical circuits with compressed air resembling those in electronics and for example prohibit some controlling operation if some othe condition has not been met in the circuit and pressure has not yet reached into check valve's pilot port.
