Rotary actuator produces rotating movement out of pneumatic pressure. Typically rotary actuator has a set limit of rotation. In other words rotary actuator can not rotate indefinitely. This feature allows to create part flipping machines/grippers with ease. Rotation angle can be further limited by adjusting internal shock absorbers or creating an external shock absorbers that limit the part movement.

This particular unit has short stubby axle at the back side (about 4mm in length).
