M10 Nord-Lock NL10sp wedge locking glued washer pair *new*

One of the best methods available for making a secure and locked screw joint. This elegant washer is fast to use, locks the connection in place and sustains vibration and shocks loads. Wedge locking system secures bolted joints with tension instead of friction. The system is comprised of a pair of washers that has cams on one side and radial teeth on the opposite side. Since the cam angle ‘α’ is greater than the thread pitch ‘β’ a wedge effect is created by the cams, preventing the bolt from rotating loose.

This wedge-locking washer beats 5-0 all of the common locking methods such as; regular nut, nylon inserted nut (nyloc) and regular nut + split ring washer, in Junkers vibration test. Junker test according to DIN 65151 is considered to be the most severe vibration test for bolted connections and this wedge locking washer passes it with flying colors and shows only tiny amount of reduction in the clamping force, which is subject to materials natural setting. This washer also proven according to NASM 1312-7 impact and vibration test, which is test method originally developed by the U.S. Military to test bolted connections' resilience against impact and vibration.
