Karnasch 114702 15,2mm tungsten carbide cup drill with 6,8mm guide for opening Abloy locks *new*

Hole drill, which drills nearly anything. Cup drill has brazed pieces of tungsten carbide teeth for cutting holes in even a bit harder metal. The specialty of this blade is to open locks. Here's how it goes:

• Release or tighten the spring-loaded guide in place (according to personal preference and the situation).
• Start drilling with moderate rotations and moderate force into the lock.
• When the blade has sunk a millimeter or two into the protective collar of the keyway, you can at the latest unlock the guide's lock.
• Drill all the way through the surface of the keyway until you can remove the obstructive plates from inside and also remove the locking pin (L-shaped metal piece) from the keyway.
• Turn the lock cylinder with any suitable tool to open the lock.
• Smile, since you did not have to actually destroy anything irreplaceable or difficult to repair or expensive stuff to replace. in this case, the wafer disks remain intact and if you assemble them in the new lock frame in the same order, the door will still work with the old keys.
