Erni Fasop Optocontrol CLS-K-61 6916.011.561 fiber optic sensor for gap, diameter and presense monitoring

Optical sensor to be used in difficult places where heat, moisture and particles are a problem. This unit combats the problems of surroundings by housing the light amplifier (ie sensors electronics) where the surroundings are not as hostile and the actual sensing is done through fiber optic cable. There are multiple different variations of fiber tools for this sensor, which of some are capable of working in up to 600°C temperature. Sensing can be done by means of reflecting light operation, transmitting light operation or reflected light operation in V arrangement.

These units are made by Erni, but apparently Micro-Epsilon Electrotec makes these nowdays.
