How does this unit operate?

In short: connect your tool (e.g., a grinder) to the tool outlet. When the tool is operational, the relay controller senses the current draw and activates the remote control contacts, turning on the vacuum cleaner. Vacuum cleaner can also be turned on the same way by triggering the pneumatic flow switch when using compressed air. Upon activation the pneumatic valve is actuated which in turn opens up mechanically suction line passage, preventing debris from falling back through the suction line. Simple as that!

After turning off your tool (e.g., a grinder), (we presume) there is a small delay during which the suction line is closed. After some time, the remote control relay also turns off.

This controller can also be used for other innovative purposes in DIY projects, not just for tool-operated dust extraction.
