Heat cutter assembly with actuator on the left, semi-complete 1

This device is fairly simple. Long stroke actuator brings the cutter along the linear guide rail to desired location and retracts it as needed. Small stroke actuator operates scissor like mechanics which will open and close cutter jaws. Cutting blades can be easily changed and mechanical stopper easily adjusted according to the new blades. Both heat elements provide required heat for the operation and both temperature sensors can be used for monitoring temperature in both cutters.

This heat cutter assembly can be used for:

• De-burring plastic components
• Cutting plastic components
• Cutting plastic ropes thus heat treating ends at the same time
• By modifying blades even for heat element welding (HEW)
