Product Overview

The EasyCoder F2 is the first printer in Intermec’s new F series made from diecast magnesium, making it both light and extremely sturdy. The F2 is a Direct Thermal printer built to perform in many diverse environments. The EasyCoder F2 offers great flexibility. It can be fitted with long or short side doors, it can hold rolls of various sizes, can be equipped with internal rewind for auto peel, and more. The EasyCoder F2 has a 32 bit RISC processor and prints 8 ips with exceptional print quality making time to first label extremely fast. Intermec has introduced several new features into the EasyCoder F2, all designed to make life simpler for the operator. It features an open web path for quick loading of media, and the Magnet Quick-Mount printhead requires no tools and no technician for replacement.

The printer can be equipped with an internal, intelligent EasyLAN Ethernet Card for network connectivity, and it is also prepared for encoding and decoding of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags. The EasyCoder F2's connectivity offerings like Ethernet, USB, RS232, Centronics, Dual RS232, Industrial I/O Relays, RS422 and RS485 combined with its powerful protocol FingerPrint make connecting the EasyCoder F2 to any host or device effortless.

This unit is missing a plastic counter piece from it's hinge. Spare part can most likely be obtained from Intermec or crafty fellow can make up somehing similar for replacement... Lazy guy just accomodates to this situation and opens up the side door without pulling too violently.
