The current that exceeds the wire’s rated current will heat up electrical conductor. Heating is non-beneficial phenomena in electrical transfer. Because of it electrical energy is transformed into heat energy and reducing transfer efficiency. Heating wire may also be a safety hazard for the environment as in a form of fire.
