Infrared thermometer which actually shows user he is actually measuring. Finally a contactless pyrometer style infra red temperature meter which even has emissivity adjustment possibility. This is basically a 1px thermal imager (thermal camera) which just displays the single pixel temperature.You usually do not see this kind of a feature in these things. Operating this meter is simple, just point and shoot. Releasing the trigger will automatically hold the readout.
