Patch panel can be used for various patching and crossover or some other connection purposes, but most often it is used among data network installations for patching. For use you need a special Krone punch tool. Use is simple and fast, just bring in the cable and punch it into it's slot. The tool takes care of cutting excess wire. Hinge allows patch panel installation in to cabinets with where connections might change and preferably installation should be fast. Just unscrew the other end and the patch bay can be turned out from electrical cabinet for the installation session.
