Small handy KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) extender. Plug the local unit into the computer and wire LAN cabling to the remote unit and have your extended display, keyboard and mouse in operation somewhere else. In general extender's LAN cables DO NOT carry TCP/IP type network communication. Ie do not try to connect these into the local area network switches. These use purely the cable to their advantage and what and how it's transferred along the cable might vary between manufacturers.
