Have you ever built something and noticed, that your 4G moden is installed into the depths of your device very "service friendly"? Well accessing the modem is somewhat troublesome and at some point the SIM card should also be possible to change by the enduser (preferably) without dismantling the whole appliance. Well we had this kind of a problem and it is not a problem any more! Now you can also make use of the solution we have produced and utilize it in your contraptions!

Thanks to this SIM-card holder you can mount your card exactly where you need it. PCB can be conveniently mounted from four points or you can always glue it into place to the device chassis.If you want to make the board as compact as possible, then you can show it to a grinder or a cutter. The circuit board has silk-printed straight guides at the bottom, according to which it can be narrowed to suit your own taste.

The SIM card reader is equipped with a spring mechanism, which means that you do not need tweezers to tear the card out. To make life even easier there are SIM card pins and their signals marked on the circuit board. Just get the wires between your device and solder them accordingly. We have no information about the Max distance, but hardly the signal will be fatally injured with ~200-300mm wire runs.

    • Holder does not have CD (Card Detect) pins which allow the registration of a card presence (eventually you usually rarely need to change the card on the fly)

  • 2x rows of through plated 1mm holes for 2,54mm pitch 6pin connectors or leads
• PCB material and surface finnish:
  • 1,65mm thick 2-layer typical FR4 fiber glass printed circuit board wiht green solder mask and lead free HASL surface finnish for solder pads.
