Shielded, plastic molded monitor cable with long screws. VGA connector is commonly used in graphic adapters and flat screens on. Cable fits into DE-15 female connectors between computer and screen.
Note! Pin number 9 has been disabled on the connectors. On a VGA connector, pin 9 is reserved for +5V DC, which can provide power to the monitor's EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) chip. This allows automatic detection of display settings between the monitor and the computer. The cable functions normally without pin 9, especially if the display does not require EDID support.
