A small and handy aluminium housed wirewound resistor for general-purpose use, power supplies, and power generation. The HS series consists of wirewound resistors capable of dissipating high power in a limited space with a relatively low surface temperature. The power is rapidly transferred as heat through the aluminium housing to a specified heatsink.
