Convenient heating resistor for nifty intallations where heat is needed, for eg. inside an appliance chassis to heat up the internals to a plus side. Heating mat can be connected to continuous 230VAC electrical supply and the temperature will not rise significantly over 30°C (unless you will isolate it inside urethane or styrofoam). Alternatively this can be used with thermostat, which allows for temperature adjustment. Heating mat is as well suitable for warming lizards, turtles (or tortoises), reptiles or other terrarium (or vivarium) animals. Heat mat can't be submerged into water and naturally it is forbidden to install it reclessly for example with a staple gun by piercing the resistive element with staples... Same goes for screw installation and nailing.
