Phoenix Contact DIKD 1,5 2715979 2.5mm² 250V 26A gray triple-level feed-through terminal block with screw connection

Terminal block is used in electrical cabinets and electrical appliances for example between inputs and outputs and also between cabinet's own internal wiring. In addition terminal block allows for easy splicing of signals. Terminal block is a traditional solution for connecting wires and cables. When building electrical cabinets where connections do change often, it is very advisable to use terminal blocks to end up cables which originate from devices. Terminal block is cheaper to replace than the device where the screw cap is broken and in addition it allows to carry signals from appliances with tiny cables and move the connection location in better place, which allows for easier installation for a thick and/or multicore cables.

This model is particularly suitable for initiators and actuators. For example the two lower rows can be chained and connect into the operating voltage. The top feed-through connector can be used to forward sensor data or control data.
